This necklace is made with yellow, orange, brown, and cream turquoise gemstone beads. These are the nugget style gemstones that are a bit larger and have been wire wrapped with gold over copper wire into a line to form the center portion of the necklace. On each side of the turquoise is a textured gold plated chain. The necklace closes with a gold plated lobster clasp.
I have also made a pair of earrings to match the necklace our of one of the yellow turquoise nuggets and a small gold plated bead cap. The earrings hang from gold plated kidney wire style ear wires.
Colored turquoise is actually a dyed howlite gemstone.
Measurements::
-The necklace chain length is nine inches of gold plated chain on each side of the line of wire wrapped turquoise nuggets.
-The wire wrapped turquoise nuggets are 2 ¾ inches long. This brings the total length of the necklace to 20 ¾ inches long. The necklace can be made shorter.
-The individual nugget size ranges between 14 mm and 22mm.
-The thickness of the nuggets is between 5mm and 8mm.
-The earrings are 1 ½ inches long.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Crocheted Items
Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
