Lanyard:
This lanyard is made with red and white turquoise. The red turquoise is the larger nugget style of turquoise. The white is the smaller abacus shaped beads. Throughout the lanyard I have some smaller silver plate spacer beads. The lanyard closes with a square silver plate toggle clasp. The turquoise nuggets would actually be dyed howlite, as is most colored turquoise. Howlite is a lighter colored gemstone that takes dyes very well which gives us our brightly colored turquoise.
Earrings:
For the earrings I used two of the smaller red turquoise nuggets, the white turquoise bead, and some of the silver spacer beads. These hand from silver plate fish hook style ear wires.
Measurements:
-The necklace portion of the lanyard is 34 inches long.
-The section of beads that hang from the necklace portion that holds the clasp is 3 1/8 inches long. This means that this portion will hang down an additional 3 1/8 inches from the necklace portion.
-The badge clasp is included in the measurement above. By itself it is 1 ΒΌ inches long by 5/8 inches wide
-Beads:
-the red turquoise beads are between 12mm long to 25mm long.
-the white turquoise beads are 8mm wide by 5mm long.
-The total length of the earrings is 2 inches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Crocheted Items
Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
Processing Time
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
