This scarf is hand crocheted with several different yarns. The different yarns give it a textural look. The scarf is a shorter scarf that has a key hole at one end where you slip the other end of the scarf through. You can wear it close to the neck or a bit looser if you prefer. The scarf is 29 inches long and 6 ¾ inches wide. I have had crocheted fringe on each end, then hand knotted the fringe. The fringe is about 5 inches long, adding additional length to each end. This scarf is just the right size to roll up and store in your coat pocket.
The different yarns I used are:
-A fluffy rust and orange yarn.
-A yellow yarn.
-A pink yarn,
-An orange yarn.
-A variegated light pink, pink, and fuchsia yarn.
-A purple fluffy yarn.
-A variegated brown, black, and tan yarn.
-A purple, lavender, grey, and pink yarn.

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protect the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet.
I recommend hand washing for my hand crocheted item. Once hand washed, you can place in a towel and roll up. Then press out the excess water and lay the cowl flat to dry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
