This brown handmade hat is crocheted in the cloche style. The hat has the bell brim similar to a cloche syle hat, except this had has a flatter top so it has a bit of a Boho slouchy top hat look. The hat is 10 inches long from the top center to the brim. Around the brim of the hat I have crocheted some tan and light brown eyelash yarn. The close part of the brim measures about 20 inches around. The cloche bell style hat is made to fit a bit lower on the forehead.
I have also hand crocheted a flower out of the same brown yarn. The backing is the tan eyelash yarn. There are two pins on the back to secure the flower to the hat where you would like it to be. To ensure the eyelash yarn does not get in the way of pinning the flower, I have hand sewn a piece of tan felt to the back prior to sewing on the pins.
You can wear the flower in the center, in the front, on the brim or closer to the middle. The pin measures about 3 ½ inches in diameter, but appears a bit bigger because of the fluff of the eyelash yarn.

Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protect the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet.

My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
Processing Time
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
