This scarf is hand crocheted with a variegated yarn that is in colors of blue, green, red, and orange. Mixed in with the yarn is a red metallic thread. This scarf is called a neck cuff because it will fit your neck similar to a cuff on the wrist. A bit closer to the neck than a cowl.
The neck scarf measure 27 ½ inches long, and on the flat side of the scarf the button comes in 4 ½ inches. This gives about 23 inches around the neck. The other end that is not flat is crocheted into a center point with a button loop. This side will button onto the acrylic red rose button on the flat side. The extra bit of scarf after the button ensures the neck is covered from the point and button loop to where the scarf starts. You can see this in my pictures.
With the metallic thread in the scarf you do not want to machine wash or dry in a warm to hot dryer. Instead you would hand wash, then place the scarf in a towel and roll out the excess moisture. Then lay flat to dry.

The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
