Details
This was a fun scarf to crochet. There are eight motifs that have six sides. These are connected end to end to form the scarf. The scarf is 52 inches long, and 7 ½ inches wide at the widest part of the scarf, and 4 ½ inches at the narrowest part of the scarf.
The hand crocheted scarf motifs start with a fluffy yarn with eyelash type fringe in the colors of cream, pink, red, yellow and green. This yarn makes up the center of the flower. Then the actual flower is made with a soft pink yarn. Then going around the flower is a blue yarn with threads going through the yarn in variegated colors of pink and green. The motifs are connected at this blue yarn. Then, going around the blue is a light chartreuse green color of yarn. Since the motifs are already connected, this green then goes all the way around the edge. To finish the scarf there is a purple yarn that is crocheted to edge the scarf.
Hoping that this does not date me…this sure reminds me of the scarves I used to wear in the 70’s.
The yarn is acrylic and nylon blends.
To wash the scarf, hand wash in cold water. Rinse in cold water and then place in a towel to press out the excess moisture. To dry, the scarf should be laid flat to dry. Once dried, if fluffing is needed, you can place in the dryer with a dryer sheet for two minutes on the cool setting.
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.
Packaging:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Environment:
This scarf was crocheted in a pet free and smoke free home.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in computer monitors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
Processing Time
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
