This hat is hand crocheted in blue yarns that range from light blue to a turquoise blue. While making this hat I held two yarns together to get the fluffy look. One yarn is a light blue yarn. The other yarn is a variegated fluffy blue yarn that is in colors of light blue, a dusty blue, and a turquoise blue.
The hat is a bit like a skull cap, but at the ends flares jut a bit to give the hat a bell or cloche look. At the brim I have added just a bit of a ruffle.
The hat measures 9 1/4 inches from the top center to the brim. Before the ruffle at the brim the hat measures 20 inches around the brim. This is a nice this fluffy hat that will keep your head and ears warm in the winter.
To wash I would recommend washing by hand. Then place in a towel and squish out the excess water then lay flat to dry. If you think the hat needs some fluffing, once it is completely dry place in a cool dryer with a dryer sheet for 1 to 2 minutes.
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protect the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.
