Details
This scarf is hand crocheted with rust and gold yarns. The pattern used to crochet this scarf is one that goes the length of the scarf so that when you look at the scarf, it has the look of stripes that go the length of the scarf. Some of the rows have a bit of an open weave look to them. The pattern then corners at the end to make the square edges.
When crocheting with the gold yarn, which is a dark gold or a light brown yarn, I also held a metallic thread yarn that has some sequins attached every few inches. Holding this yarn in this way randomly places the sequins throughout the gold yarn as I crochet. I really like the look this gives the yarn. A bit of fun and accent for the scarf.
The scarf is 47 inches long and 7 inches wide.
Washing instructions: Hand Wash! The sequins on this scarf will not like a long trip through the washing machine, and sequins should not be in the dryer. The scarf should be hand washed in cold sudsy water, rinsed, then folded in half and placed on a towel. The towel should then be rolled up and squeezed to get out the excess moisture. Once this is done, the scarf should be layed flat to dry.
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
Packaging:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
The yarn is an acrylic yarn.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.
Environment
All items are made in a smoke free and pet free home.

Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
