This handmade crocheted scarf is made with brown and cream yarns in a stripe pattern. There is a hand crocheted matching hat that is crocheted in the brown yarn and has the cream yarn as a trim at the band. The yarns are a mix of different textures and colors within the brown and cream family. The scarf is 54 inches long and eight inches wide. There is fringe that is hand crocheted and hand knotted at each end of the scarf. The fringe is about 4 inches long, adding additional length to the scarf.
The yarns in the scarf include:
A solid brown yarn,
A tan yarn.
A medium brown yarn with a twist of white yarn.
And the best is a fluffy cream yarn with eyelash style threads.
The hat is a dome hat shape and is hand crocheted with the solid brown yarn. At the brim I started crocheting in some of the solid tan yarn. Then the brim is finished off with the fluffy cream yarn. The brim is about 19 inches around, and nine inches from the top to the brim.
Washing instructions would be to hand wash the scarf and hat. Then lay the scarf and hat in a towel, roll the towel, then press to get the excess water out of the scarf and hat. Then lay flat to dry. If the scarf needs some fluffing after it is dry, you can place in a cool dryer with a dryer sheet for a minute or two.
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Crocheted Items
Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
Processing Time
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
