This necklace is made with round turquoise beads and cylinder turquoise beads with silver accent beads. The necklace at the center has a loop of the turquoise and silver beads. Then going up each side of the necklace the beads will follow the same pattern on each side.

The turquoise beads are dyed howlite. The howlite or also called magnesite gemstone is very similar to turquoise. It also takes dyes and colors and holds them well. If you see colored turquoise, it is actually dyed howlite. The turquoise beads are etched and formed with lines going from top to bottom. These are then antiqued in a brown to bring out the lines.

The loop at the center of the necklace has five of these turquoise beads with four silver plate accent beads in between each of the turquoise beads. These silver beads have a balled edge going horizontally through the center of the bead. This makes this silver bead a bit wider than it is long. Above the loop is a few small silver plate spacer beads, then a purple turquoise bead, the silver bead, then another purple. There are a few more of the silver spacer beads, then the necklace starts with the following pattern:

A red turquoise bead, the silver accent bead, then another yellow turquoise bead.
The three turquoise beads with the silver spacers in between.
A green turquoise bead, the silver accent bead, then another green turquoise bead.
The three turquoise beads with the silver spacers in between.
Then each side of the necklace ends with ten of the small silver spacer beads.

The necklace closes with a silver plate toggle.

The earrings are the same beads used on the necklace and hang from a silver plate fish hook style ear wire. Starting from the bottom the gemstones and beads are:

A silver spacer bead

Measurements:
The etched turquoise gemstone beads are 10mm.
The silver accent beads are 12mm by 15mm.
The silver spacer beads are 4mm.
The purple, green, yellow and red turquoise bead is 7mm wide by 4mm long.
The necklace is 20 inches long
The center loop and beads just above the loop are an additional 3 ¼ inches.
The earrings are 2 ½ inches long.
