These earrings are made with a 10mm wide by 10mm long by 10mm wide puffed silver plate square bead. This bead is rounded at the top and bottom. There is embossing on the bead that is in small swirls. There is black antiquing over the embossing pattern to bring out the details.
Above this silver square bead there is a small silver plate spacer bead, then a 6mm by 4mm faceted clear sideways oval Swarovski crystal. They also call this an abacus bead because they resemble the shape of the beads used on the “abacus”. This abacus was a counting tool used centuries ago, a frame holding oval beads that were wider than they were tall.
Just above the abacus bead there is another silver plate spacer bead. Just above this bead is the silver plate fish hook ear wire. The total length of the earrings, including the ear wire is 1 ½ inches.
The square bead is hollow, which makes this pair of earrings lighter than they look in the picture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Crocheted Items
Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
