Details

This scarf is hand crocheted in brown and blue yarns. It is a long yarn with a pattern that goes in rows the length of the scarf. One end is rounded and has a keyhole where the other end of the scarf, which has fringe, can be pulled through. With the style of the scarf there are several ways that it can be worn:

The fringe end through the keyhole and tighten around the neck with the length remaining hanging down the center or to the side.
The hand crocheted scarf can be wrapped around the neck twice and then pulled through the keyhole.
The scarf can be work loosely around the neck and the fringe end just placed through the keyhole giving the looks of an infinity scarf with a bit of extra design.
The fringe end can be put through the keyhole, and then the end wrapped a couple of times around the neck. This would be good for those cold days.

To give this hand crocheted scarf a textural look, I have used various brown and blue yarns. Descriptions of some of these include:

A navy blue yarn
A brown fluffy yean
A blue yarn that almost has a braided texture
A fluffy navy yarn with white specks
A brown yarn
A teal blue fluffy yarn
A brown and white fluffy yarn

The yarns are either nylon, polyester, or acrylic, or a combination of these.

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.

I would suggest washing by hand, then lying flat to dry. If the scarf needs some fluffing, only after it is dried, place in the dryer on cool with a dryer sheet for about 2 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Care Instructions for my crocheted items

Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.

Care instructions for my Jewelry

I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Environment

All items are made in a smoke free and pet free home.

Packaging for Crocheted Items

Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

Packaging for Jewelry items

My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.

Processing Time

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
