This necklace is loaded with cystals and beads that I crocheted with bronze copper wire. The necklace is about 18 inches long and about 1 ¼ inches wide. The necklace closes with a bronze toggle. There are so many beads crocheted into the necklace, it would make for a long time in reading to list them all…so here are a few:
Several large 16mm by 12mm clear faceted crystals
10mm blue agate gemstone beads
8mm lavender glass pearls
6mm round faceted pink crystal
8mm by 6mm red oval faceted crystal
Orange, green, and Brown acrylic beads with metallic swirls over the top of them
12mm clear lamp work bead with a white core and flecks that glow in the dark
6mm black glass pearls
Silver puffed embossed square beads 10mm by 10mm
These are just some of the beads used in the necklace. As I work on items, I tend to leave some of the beads on my work mat because I can hardly wait to get to the next item I will be making. After a bit of time, I will have several crystals, pearls, gemstones, glass, and acrylic beads on my mat…so there is the inspiration.
The earrings start with a round dome bronze bead. The bronze bead attaches to the bronze ear wire. From the lower end of the bronze bead I have placed three wire wrapped beads. In the center there is a 12mm by 10mm clear faceted crystal with an antiqued copper bead cap with a leaf patter on top. On each side of this is a 6mm faceted brown agate gemstone bead. The total length of the earrings, including the bronze ear wires, is 2 ½ inches.

This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.

My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Care Instructions for my crocheted items
Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Care instructions for my Jewelry
I always recommend storing jewelry in a small plastic bag. I will send one of these with your order. This will keep the item from tarnishing, and will also keep necklaces and chains from getting tangled.

Packaging for Crocheted Items
Crochet items:
My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Packaging for Jewelry items
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. I will also tie a bow around it. It could get a bit wrinkled in the mail, but it makes it more fun to unwrap! It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
